Try the Southbeach diet! My male friend lost 20 punds in two weeks and if he continued for another week I bet he would have lost more. And he's keeping his weight off, too! But you better have a professional dietician guide you. Trying to stay on course can be trying!

I lost 25 pounds in 4 weeks by lifting weights and intense cardio, like jump rope and stairclimbing. I didn't go to a gym,i just did it in my basement. If you don't have weights push ups and crunches will work.I would warm up by running in place for a few minutes and than do some jumping jacks followed by skipping rope 5-10 minutes depending on your endurance.I would also walk and run up and down my stairs(9 stairs to my basement)30-40 times at first than after a while i could do it 100+ times without wanting to collaspe. You can do push-ups and crunches too, maybe not all this on the same day,you can mix it up a bit. Do push ups 8-10 at a time,if you can't lift yourself do the girl ones on your knees,50-100 or however many you can do. Don't exercise everyday because your body needs rest too,do it 4-5 times a week. Intensity is the key,so you want to sweat your butt off for about 45min-1 hour straight,if your really out of shape take it easy at first and don't go so hard.
Buy some good protein powder(there's lots of flavours to pick from)have a shake for breakfest, put it in a blender with skim milk and a banana or some other fruit that should fill you up.Eat healthy snacks and meals, good protein like tuna, salamon and eggs. When you eat eggs only eat 1 or 2 yolks and as many whites as you want, eat lots of your favorite fruits and veggies and have a shake for a snack too.
You don't have alot of time so no junk or fastfood at all, drink only water and skim milk no diet sodas because that fake sugar is just as bad as the real stuff.Stay away from any sugar and white breads and keep up with the exerise. Good luck.

This is what my experience would recommend:
You need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week.
Do 10 planks for 45 secs each for your lower abs, and bicycle crunches for the rest.
Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training, followed by 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging.
Good luck and stick at it. I have lost over 20 lbs, but in 3 months.

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.
1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.
2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.
3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.
These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

Sounds like someone is planning on enlisting. Good luck if thats the case.
The key is to keep your metabolism firing on all cylinders all day long. After a workout your metabolism will stay elevated for 45 minutes afterward. Therefore you want to do multiple light-moderate intensity workouts over the course of a day. Swimming is probably the best thing you can do as it burns the most calories and is easiest on your muscles- if you run miles and miles for the first week or two you are going to break down. You need to mix it up. Eliptical machines at the gym are great low impact exercises.
Overall you are going to need to burn about 90,000 calories to lose 25 pounds. In 21 days thats about a net loss of 4,000 cal a day. Burning 5,000 calories a day is not out of the question if you stay active all day with multiple light intensity exercises. Dont waste time lifting weights as you need to conserve your muscles and you are going to destroy them if you lift.
As far as eating you should probably aim for between 1,000-2,000 calories a day depending on your appetite. Get as much from lean protein as possible- lean meats and skim milk are your friends. Protein shakes are great too with milk. Beef jerky is great as well.
Dont aim to kill yourself in any workout until you come down to the wire. Likewise, dont starve yourself, your body will shut down and you will burn fewer calories. When you are hungry, eat lean protein. Try a circuit training cycle too- run for a bit, do some pushups, run a bit, do pullups, run, do situps. Full body workout is the key. Too much running or pushups will sink you after the first week.

If you really have to lose that much, that fast, the only way you can do it is to dedicate yourself 24/7 to the task over the next three weeks....
Breakfast:
bowl of cereal, one fruit serving (real fruit not canned), glass of skim milk.
Veggie snacks during the day (raw vegetables) maybe one or two pieces of fruit also...
Dinner:
can of tuna packed in water. no mayo. served in a tortilla or mix in with a small serving of pasta... can add mustard and/or pickle relish (no mayo)...
Other than the skim milk for breakfast, drink water the rest of the day...
Exercise:
Treadmill - run one hour in the morning, one hour in the evening...
Spend ALL the rest of the day in physical activities:
Walk - lock up the car keys and walk or bike everywhere for the next three weeks. If you have a job take the next three weeks off because there's no way to lose that much while working...
Try to hike at least 15 to 20 miles each day or bike 50 to 100 miles.....

try the lemonade diet which is basically drink lemon juice with cayenne pepper and add real maple syrup to it. dont eat anything else though. when you get hungry just drink more or just drink a bunch of water. work out on the treadmil for about 2 hours a day while you are drinking this with a bag wrapped around your stomach. you will sweat like there is no tomorrow and the acid in the lemon juice will make you pee alot and all the fat will leave your system.

Here's an awesome diet that worked wonders for me. Have a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Eat 1 granola bar for lunch and enjoy a light supper(anything). Walk a few km's each night and you will be amazed. You might need an appetite suppressant for the first few days. It works.

Can't
25 pounds is too gret a weight loss in too short of a time. You will shock the body and create a yo-yo effect with your weight.
the best you can hope for is about 7-10.
Stop eating junk foods and sodas.
Increase intake of raw vegetables and water.
Cut caloric intake by 500 calories a day
Exercise at least 30 minutes a day, five days a week.
Anything else will not be effective, either in the short term or the long term
