I'm not normally a superstitious person, but I recently had an epiphany. Three years ago, when I was moving into my current home, I broke 2 mirrored doors of a vanity. I realized recently what lousy luck I've had the last few years. I admit that the bad luck could have started before the broken mirrors, but if there's anything I can do to change my luck, I'm ready to try it.

Obviously, after 3 years, I don't have the broken pieces anymore.

Do not be supersticious! Think about the good things that had happened to you, too. However, if this is not good enough for you, i've been told that if you carry a stick (piece of wood) with you for some days and then after this time you break it, the bad luck goes away.

good luck!

So, your solution to all your problems was polluting the ocean? How exactly do you think that's going to help? Luck is subjective. If you stop believing in superstitions and see that bad things happen to good people all the time, you'll understand the mirror had nothing to do with any of these unfortunate events and you've just gotta make the best out of tough times and work through them together as a family.

I only see the broken mirror as an additional thing to replace. No more, no less. Luck is a matter of perception. If you believe yourself to be lucky, then you are. This is no different than choosing to be happy. You must choose to view all things in a positive light, consider the fact that you can replace the mirror, and didn't get injured when it broke.

Well first of all, it could be all in your mind. If not sprikle sage over yourself. Knock on Wood. Decide not to care cause its not true possibly. The reasons why it is concited to break a mirror is to inheret 7 years of bad luck comes from ancient times when mirrors were not widely avalible and to get a mirror would be very expensive. Many people would have to save their money up to -7 YEARS- to get one and if someone broke it would be devastating. Dont fret.

There is no bad luck resulting from a mirror being broken. You and the decisions you have made have caused your 'luck'.

Try offering a goat sacrifice to Zeus. Should turn that bad luck right around.

I think throwing a handful of salt over your shoulder is supposed to be the traditional remedy for that one.

You clean it up 7 hours after breaking it.

Tell yourself that you don't have bad luck. It is all in the mind. Once you convince yourself, you will be fine.
