To a degree, yes. The first thing most people will notice is someone's looks. It's important to have a care about your appearance. That doesn't mean everyone has to be a beauty queen. But you should at least do your best to keep yourself clean and neatly groomed.

Looks really depend upon what u mean by it.
Looks means to some to be neat & clean, where as some can thing of latest trends.
Practically it really works & matters in present atmosphere where the whole programe is made if Dhoni changes its hair colour.
It is not really imp. for men or women but it is imp. to be in society.

yes i think that looks are very important. Looks aren't all that matters, personality has allot to do with it. When you see someone in the store or wherever you are, you don't know them you have never talked to them, if you are attracted what else do you have to go off of than looks cause you don't know their lifestyle, what they like, you know nothing else about them except they have for example beautiful eyes.

i would say they are for both but not only looks but the way they present their selves.I mean I don't want to be seen with they guy who just totally gave up on his self and smells horrible...And the same goes for men but some men go over board when it comes to women they want the prettiest one around and they don't even care if they get along or not as long as he looks good with her..silly but true.

Most people will probably say that looks doesn't matter and that you should not judge a person based on what they look like but on their personality.
While this is true, you also want someone that you are attracted to. I can honestly say that looks do matter to me. What they are like on the inside is far more importand but I have to be attracted to them for it to work.

Looks are inportant.... but by lookes I do not mean that one should be exceptionally beautiful/handsome... but that one should groom him/her.. and make the best presentation of his appearance.... a neat and clean person gives pleasent looks....
