Find a way to make money on the net, by doing surveys or somethin. Gotta get that paper.
I don't think the powers that be didn't want you to surf, they just wanted you to have your job down pat before you killed time often.

Take college courses at night and use your daytime down-time to study and write papers. Better yourself so that one day you're in the executive's office, not out front. There is nothing wrong with being a receptionist (that's not what I'm saying), but if you have the opportunity and the down-time to study, why not better yourself and advance in the company?

Read. A book a mag it's all good. Find a good computer game to play. Word puzzles (soduku, crosswords, ect.) are good and can be bought cheap. Whatever you do clear it with your boss.
