No they can both get it, but make sure that when they do to use Lotromine cream. I know that it is an anti fungal cream but it works. I talked to my pharmacist about it and he said that is the best thing to use. So I used it on my son and it took the rash away really fast. He said not to use desitin, Vaseline, or AD cause it doesn't let the rash breath and it will make it worse. When I used that stuff on my son I did notice that the rash didn't go away when I used the AD, desitine, and the other stuff. So try the Lotromine. It works TRUST ME!

I would have to say no. I haven't had a girl yet but I had sisters growing up and I had nieces and I truly think it depends on the babies skin sensitivity. My son is very sensitive if a slighty wet diaper is on him for more than 15 to 20 minutes he gets a yeast infection, something in which I had no idea a boy could get as a rash. I have an nine year old son that did fine, but the eight month old has very sensitive skin, I have to use All all clear laundry detergent for him.

No, but they are more likely to get a yeast infection because they have so many folds down there.
Wet diapers can be caused by many things, acid in the diet (green beans used to get my little guy)...teething (the doctor says no, but I've seen it!) sitting in a wet diaper, and sitting in a poopy diaper!
Make sure you always wipe back to front and are very careful to clean everything! You may want to try some Desitin to prevent a diaper rash, but if they already have a rash, cut it with AD Ointment or Vasoline (IT WILL STING IF YOU DON'T).
Let it air out as much as you can (no diaper). If you suspect yeast infection call the doctor....especially if it is cracked or bleeding.

I dont know what a Dr. would say but my 2 girls did have more problems with it than my son. I just learned to wipe them after every single diaper change. And A and D ointment worked the best for the rash.

Nope, actually neither is more likely to get a diaper rash, but girls are WAY more likely to have infections like Bladder and Yeast.

Some babies have sensitive skin.My son was the worst but he also couldn't even be washed in baby washes. He was allergic to the fragrance in them.I also heard of babies being allergic to different brands of diapers.
