I donot know.
I was a child once. I was ignorant, immature. Delusions, I am not sure but I think I had it. so , as a child what was I doing to choose between good and the evil? Nothing. a child does what it thinks and the child is not sitting in judgement.
As the child grows the society imposes on the tender mind their interpretations of what is good m or bad. This religion is good , that is very bad.... etc.
I should think I will not agree with that statement.

Although I don't personally believe in good vs evil I do agree with the statement. Ignorance, immaturity, and delusion affect all our decisions in life.

Good and Evil exist only in our mind. We construct them. So your question is pointless. (".........by such influences as ignorance, immaturity, and delusion" create the concept of good and evil).

I agree to a point but would add that it is also his genetic makeup and his upbringing and those of his peers that will have a direct influence on his appreciation of good and evil. LF

No, well i believe we all know good between evil, (except for the pyschopaths) it is in built in our selfs, not through ethical debate, but rather the emotions of our concionse.

good and bad are real words, I mean good is something that helps somebody at a time to make his dreams come tru but if you look for the meaning of good in general and along the history this word is stupid.

i do not agree at all
every human has his own influences and thinking ...they do what they think is best for them...u just cant call them ignorant or whatever that is !!!
choosing whatever side depends only on experinces and their feelings !!!
so respect their feelings

I believe that evil stems from insecurity. It is insecurity that will make us go to war to secure oil reserves. Insecurity will make us cheat on our spouse to make sure that we are still attractive.
So on and so forth...
