General TJ...of course we can successfully wage war against N. Korea, but what would the outcome be? Are we also ready for China? As it stands, Iraq looks as though it's turning into another Vietnam where we greatly over estimated our abilities. Are you old enough to remember? And "Lord behold" our navy and air force?? there's some ammo for the anti religious amongst us.

No, no, no.
First, the South Koreans will be strongly against it.
Second, it would create more problems with China, Japan and Russia.
Third, it will really stretch our armed forces's strength to the limit, whom already are handling complicated military situations in Iraq and Afganistan. Who knows if the war on NK will become another trouble with guerilla warfare and drag for a long time?
If we go war against NK, it will creat serious power vacumme in the world, because most of our power are focused on the wars that already happening.
Remember, what the NK is doing is from their own desparation. They really do not have much power to stand up their own, so they choose to be the extreme, to just maintain their falling state.
The best we can do is just patiently wait until they collapse of their own.

There heavily isn't a conflict. I understand that the two facets ought to take specific measures - in simple terms in case - which incorporates the U.S. having sent F-22 warring parties and North Korea positioning nuclear missiles on their East Coast, yet all this on the muse of a "in simple terms in case"-coverage. The U.S. would not want Guam and their bases in South Korea and Japan nuked and North Korea would not want to be nuked the two. All it quite is in simple terms to make a stand against the U.S. and incessant U.N. sanctions, yet that is to this point because it will pass. you may sleep soundly, do no longer challenge. ;-)

Its always harder to invade than it is to defend. Unlike in Iraq, N. Korea seems to be United behind their leader to win the war ground troops will need to be sent in. Yes the U.S can go in, but it would be a long and bloody that will dwarfe the situation in Iraq at the moment.
War is not always the answer, sorry to dissapoint you.

i completely agree...they should send out our navy and air force..if the most advanced branches ae the air force and navy we should use them more...but korea is really strong also...if we were to fight them it would be a close fight...but we are already in a war so we should wait until we finish with iraq

we cant go to korea because bush does have everything tied into iraq. not to metion we are also in afghanistan. waging war against korea would mean giving everything else against another war that isnt necassary. other nations are against war and bush has the brains enough to stay away.

N.k is not a country like IRAQ.
N.K forces are better trained and more able to fight.
The only way to fight N.K. will be with nukes... no other military way other than massive air strikes will do any good.
Even air strikes will be inneffective because much of n.k. is underground anyway...

Not every person in the army is bogged down in Iraq. and the navy and airforce can't handle it by there selves.
