Yes...if someone takes the time to answer they deserve to have them read. I also give them a thumbs up if it's a kind reply. I give a thumbs down to people who are nasty. I also make sure I go back and resolve the question by giving someone the "best answer" rating.

i read all the answers to my questions and i decide which one is the best, i do thank other for contributing their piece. then i do read all the answers for a specific questions that i find interesting when im voting for best answers. i do read before rating as well if i feel that the answer deserve a thumbs up or thumbs down.
but its not the same with answering others questions. i do my own, i don't copy anything, its my thought alone, sometimes it coincidentally same opinion but base on different concept.
then if im not familiar with the questions and i feel like it will help me in some kind of way in the future, i keep it on my watch list but never answer since i wanted to learn about the subject and currently have no idea how to help, i better let the expert answer that one...
