I'm taking my car into inspection today, and this is my first time ever doing this. So I was wondering what the exact list is that they ask you to do.

you don't do anything they do it all they check the lights and tires and locks and registration and insurance and fluid lines they just make sure your car is safe 2 drive and your paper work is done

you dont have to do anything but hand the keys over. make sure you have the registration and the ins. card or they probably wont take it in. they will check the front end, undercarriage, leaks, emissions, and a few other things, like lights and tire condition.

Valid license, registration and insurance ID card. The rest is up to your car.

Don't go for the "strip search" routine.
They'll take care of it, and each state has its own requirements.
