Now that you have grown up. Is anyone even close to what they thought they would be doing?

Ramsay James,

I was lucky enough to realise my dream. When I was 5 years old I wanted to be a professional athlete like most young boys do...

By the age of 17 I had was had my Professional Golfing Card and was playing the sport I loved for a living and also going to Uni on a full scholarship.

I am very thankful for realising my childhood dream and could not be happier with that fact as most people grow out of thier dreams or forget about the innocence of their inner child.

a teacher. Right now I am a stay at home mom which is semi close because a mom is the first teacher a child has in life along with their dad. I am also going to pursue my dreams once my youngest is in full time school. I want to teach special education kids. Autistic.

My dad wanted me to be a lawyer or a doctor, but all I wanted to be when I grew up was happy and to be loved. That's all my little, kindergarten mind could think of.
I wanted to be free, relieved of the pressures of the world, travel and play with animals, maybe even find love in the process.
Happiness was a place I visited often when I was young, and in my own little way, I knew that it wouldn't last forever. I knew that I hated anything that wasn't happiness, and I wanted to capture happiness and put it in jar. Haha.

I wanted to be a teacher. I ended up being unhappy as an insurance agent for 12 yrs. Since then I've quit my job and went back to school for Elementary Ed; it's never too late to do what you've dreamed of....

At the time, TJ Hooker was a big name... and my older cousin had convinced me that he was, in fact "a hooker"

During a family dinner (I mean aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents from both sides and great-grandparents) I proclaimed, without prompting that "I want to be a hooker when I grow up!"

I thought about pursuing this career as a hungry college student, but I've since let the dream die.

I wanted to be a rock star. In fact, I still do. I'm a graphic designer though, which is still artsy and sometimes I get to design posters and CDs.
