I'm behind my party all the way but I don't agree with gay bashing or pedophilia and I'm bright enough to make the distinction.

Also, I think our president is a twit and had no plan for post invasion of Iraq.

I think because of President Twit, he squandered all the world's goodwill after the 9/11 tragedies.

I think he has made the world a much scarier place than before by his inept policies of creating terrorists.

But, can't I have my place at the table too and speak what's on my mind?

Seems that when I mention my party's pervs and the need to go after them my fellow Republicans really get steamed at me. What's up with this? Do Democrats allow their brethren to say what's on their minds?

Republicans have made it clear that thinking and asking questions is not acceptable. The republican party is the party for followers who must be told what to do and are incapable of thinking for themselves, like sheep led to slaughter.

My friend, I am a conservative (The Republican party won't stand up for itself so I do not consider myself as a Republican). I agree, with ALMOST everything you said

Bush had no post invasion plan - STRONGLY AGREE
Gay Bashing is wrong - STRONGLY AGREE
Pedophilia is wrong, no matter who its by - STRONGLY AGREE
More terrorists are being created - DISAGREE SOMEWHAT
Its BS that you're being silenced for your views - STRONGLY AGREE

You are an American, you have the fundamental right to believe in whatever the **** you want. Even though I disagree, I will not silence you my friend. You are entitled to that belief, since it is not harming others. I am steamed by other Republicans for even ATTEMPTING to defend Foley. And I don't care if there was a democrat who did this years ago. The point is that it is happening now and he is unfit to help lead this nation. I dont care where you are on the party line, if you are a peder*a*s*s then you must be removed from office.

No, I'm sorry, but Democrats don't really allow this either. I live in Kansas City, MO where at least 3 out of every 4 people are liberals. Whenever I see a Moderate democrat try to speak whats on their mind, they get silenced by their fellow Dems. Just look at Lieberman.

I see your fellow Republicans are even trying to silence you here in yahoo answers. I actually think very similiar to you. It sounds to me that you are a conservative and/or a libertarian and not a Republican. You have to understand the Republican party exists today to maintain power. There is no other reason than that. What evidence would you like? Look at what the Republicans have done in the past six years with control of both houses of Congress, the preisdencey, and indirectly the supreme court? Not exactly a good conservative agenda.
I would recommend you leave the Republican party and find a home with someone like the libertarians. At least then you won't feel like your party sold you out (which they have done).

You are very opinionated. You sound like a democrat. Are you sure your a republican?? Either way, I do agree that president Bush is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I back him up all the way. He's got some testes, that's for sure. Hopefully he puts an end to all this radical islamic crap. These people act like cave men. Maybe you need to evaluate your thoughts my man. We are americans and this is still the best place to live in the world. I back my country to the fullest. We are only here by chance. Anyone of us could have been born and raised somewhere else.

I thumbed you down too. you act like the party you are complaining about. I made a honest observation about you and i hurt your feelings. Jerk off

Ohhhh.... I can see at least 3 reasons why they don't like you. You see, they have a different way of thinking than you.
You see, I now live somewhere else, and only am worried about my taxes and what Bush will do next. I agree with you that the world is now more dangerous - in the middle east people still live by the tooth for a tooth and eye for an eye saying. If they lose their whole family, they have nothing else to live for but terrorism to get even. But enough of that.- maybe it's time to rethink your party membership... Personally, I don't care. I'm living in a 3rd world country with its' own problems.

Democrats do not allow their "brethren" to say what's on their mind. For example, if you want to stay in Iraq you are silenced or kicked out of the party.

There's nothing wrong with mentioning any party's "pervs", but to make it sound like the entire party is guilty because of said "pervs" is ridiculous. Foley is gone. Resigned. We can talk about it, but what else should be done? Should we execute him without even an investigation?

Your right with your views and I agree and I'm a Democrat. These people are running Fascism even upon you. Your not aligned with that, and I commend you for that. These are the freedoms Democrats are protecting for Americans that greed has gotten in the way for Neocons.

I really question that you are a Republican at all. I understand that leftist web sites encourage people to post these kind of messages.

I see no evidence that you are a Republican at all, other than your assertion. Which programs of theirs do you favor?
