Well done to all those who have to perform CPR in real life.
Yes I know CPR, and qualified to teacher 1st Aid and CPR, and the new rate of 30:2 (30 Compressions and 2 Breaths) are much easier to teach and remember.
Thankfully never had to perform CPR on any one, but have come close a few times in emergency situations.
Oh you cant be sued if you follow the guidelines of 1st Aid, when in a emergency situation. Thats in Australia

Yes, and be careful, cause if you run into a situation where you are adminstering CPR, (even if you are just being a good citizen)..you must continue the CPR until proper medical assitance arrives or until you are so physically exhausted that you cannot contiue and then you better have a witness to that fact!! You wanna know why? Because if the victim lives, they or their families can SUE you...thats right...I kid ya not!! And they wonder why people don't get involved? I still will get involved...just who I am...but what a law...wow..

Yes, I know CPR. I have not had to put in to use yet, and I hope I don't have to, but I am glad that I have the knowledge in case I ever need it.

Just a month ago on a friend and neighbor(she killed herself). By the way get a pocket mask, they ALWAYS puke. The new 30:2 ratio works well. They pink right up, in her case there was no electrical activity left in her heart to sustain her life, but she pinked up well while we did CPR.
Much easier to do on a real person than the practice dummy by the way.
