I'm so utterly bored at work all the time...it makes me miserable. I've changed jobs about 5 times in the past year just because I get too bored in one place.

I'm very keen to join the Police, but I need to pass my driving test before they will accept me. Driving tests and lessons are all just one big expense and I keep failing my test on the most ridiculous silly mistakes. It seems to be taking forever. I can't afford to even re-book!

In short, I'm skint since leaving University...not earning the bucks I should be and am bored working lame admin jobs (it's all that seems to be available).

Does anyone know some ways to earn a few extra quid on the Internet? (not eBay, paid surveys etc as I already do all those)...whilst I'm at work...because I'm so bored and have nothing to do all day! HAHA!

In response to "origamimark"...I have no problem getting jobs...i'm bored because they are not challenging and most of the time i'm stuck in an office with people as irritating as your sarcastic self.

I’m afraid 90% of the population don’t really like their jobs but it’s a way to a means but if your serious about getting in the force then commit to it 110% instead of spending money on nights out ,save and get your test done then become a special constable or do something community related.
The Police are after people with life experience and as only 1 in 7 are getting past all of the application stages at the moment you need to make yourself the best possible candidate and be aware the process takes up to a year and if you don’t make it make sure you have a back up career maybe a social worker! Best of luck.

P.s. I am aware this only answers some of your question :)

I was bored with work so I started my own business its better if you recieve all the money I do cleaning , something everyone seems to want , its sooo easy to do ,I charge from £10 to £15 pr hr no less than 2hrs , I have only £500 pr month coming in at the moment , thats more than the dole!! I made cards up on the computer printed them off and put them in builders, property developers doors ,flats, shops etc I am getting at least one or two new jobs a month , at the moment I work approx 30hrs per month and the only outlay is being able to drive or bus fare to get to the places .

Every empathy I wanted to join the police when i was younger and guess what I was to short! You had to be 5fot 6 inches as a woman then and i was two inches to short. I was gutted now look they are like miggets no offence to any officers of the law you do a great job.
Look for another job one that you would really love to do I did and have never regretted it. You may benefit from something that does not keep you indoors and gives you change every day sales or something like that. Just a thought

wow, u are in nearly the exact situation as me!!! on top of all that once we have passed the driving test we need to find a police force that is recruiting within the area, life is poo sometimes and the best way to earn more money is to get a second job, do some bar work - you will earn a decent amount and have fun at the same time.

good luck mon amis'

Doesn't have to be on the internet. Make a list of the things you're good at and try to think of a market for them. For instance, can you bake cookies or cakes? Perhaps the local baker or cafe will buy them off you. Are you very good at spelling (looks like it!) and grammar, so could you be a freelance proofreader? Are you a fast, accurate typist - set up on your own as a temp offering emergency help to local businesses. That would take a bit of time and effort, preparing and distributing flyers, but could be well worth it. Go on - believe in yourself and get out there!!

I say "emotionally" too because of the fact I see lots of folk thinking they could have a boyfriend or lady of their existence- and draw on the threshold of all and sundry, they are so desperate. and that's in no way a tremendously sight nor a solid concept. So make plans! Act- take steps. do no longer purely sit down there. artwork on making adjustments.

well, don't complain, join the club and enjoy spending quality time on yahoo answers while at work...what a great way to collect your pay cheque doing nothing. I'll never complain, plus I learn so many useless things that I can use to impress my co-workers and my boss...
