You probably won't see 10-12 if the engine needs work. I think the 462 flathead was worse for MPG than the 460. Not sure what yours has.

More like 10 -12 highway. Too much weight, too big an engine and too big of a carb. This also depends on road condition and driving habits. In the city you can get as much as 8 -10. Back in 1967 gas was only 22 cents per gallon. Cigarettes were the same price by the way.

My 63 Lincoln got about 8 in city driving and 12 highway driving. It was the only car I owned that you could watch the gas gage go down while you were driving. Luckily premium was 32.9 back then.

you drive a gas guzzler. not very good. maybe 12-15 mpg
