Most perfumes today all smell to me like they have mosquito repellant in them, and they all smell very similar to me, does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me? Also, what is your favorite perfume/cologne?

I don't have this problem with most mens cologne, and I'm not talking about cheap drugstore cologne..I'm talking about like "Tommy girl" "CK one" ect...

I think many smell similar. When i use them too much, i feel the smell of their alcohol base, that doesn't smell very pleasant, and i think that is what you smell.
I don't have a thing about perfumes, but i have several different ones. When i get sick of them all, i use simple english lavander perfume, it is unlike anything.
You could try using dry perfume, or aromatic oils, they won't smell like repellent to you, they are just pure fragrance. Chanel oils are really really good.

I don't really have a favorite I like all types. I have 1 right now Provocative woman by Elizabeth Arden. I need to get some more so i have a variety of perfume to choose from. I pick the ones that smell really feminine or flowery, nothing too musky..

My two favorites are Rush by Gucci and Chance by Chanel. They do smell very similar, but one is more of a day perfume while the other is a bit stronger for night.

Well, maybe your nose is more sensitive than others, thus getting the smell. I've got a great 1 recently and it smells great. Hugo Boss Limited Edition. It looks SUPER COOL too.

I totally agree. UGH!! I've never been much into perfume to begin with, but these days it justt seems like there's little to choose from.
I normally just tend to use lotions---especially the good stuff, like from Bath & Body Works (specifically one called Moonlight Path). WHen I layer the shower gal & lotion, I always get compliments on how nice it smells---not overpowering or anything.
On my man, I just prefer "his" scent. But he wears deoderant I really like: Axe Phoenix.

:-)
