a lot more I can't think of
I'm sure there's a lot I don't know.

A lot of times, on jazz radio, I'll hear a song and think that maybe it's Coltrane, but its really another musician who is directly influence by Coltrane. Other times there are musicians who have moments when they sound a lot like him. I can't recall who they were, but there is a lot of them.

Just about everybody. His contemporaries, future generations. The most famous, the most obscure.

Miles Davis -- not a musican who was easily impressed -- was heavily influenced by Coltrane and played/recorded with him a little. Their works are compiled on "Miles and Coltrane," CBS Records (1973, 1988).

Well he's not a jazz musician but Carlos Santana has said that Coltrane was a huge influence.
