It is not dumb. It is the natural reaction of an innocent girl taking first step in youth. Forget the characters in pictures who break into a long-long love song when they meet for the first time. The director has to rush the entire lovelife within the stipulated time and has, threfore, to resort to such short-cuts. Life, actual life, does not rush like this. The love at first sight syndrome is also rare .Love, real love proceeds by stages and t akes the next step when it feels that the first had been firm. So do not have any inferiority complex. What you are doing is not dumbness--the language of love it is.

I dont think it's dunb..but I might suggest you say a little more than Hi..maybe ask him a question like "aren't you glad it's Friday?" That way, he'll come back to you with an answer and maybe your note will turn into a conversation after class!
Good luck girl!

no, if you think he likes you too & your not good at talking to the boys just ask him in a note if he would like to go out some time, that takes the pressure off of actually having to say it to him in person

A little. Instead of a note talk to him face-to-face. Say something like, "Hey did you get that math homework last night?" or "Did you see that episode of Lost?" (XD) Something like that.

Put more detail in the note, don't just put hi, he'll think you're weird or stupid if you do that. Just start conversations with him when you're in the hallway or in the classroom.

no. Do you know what he is interested in? That would be a good conversation starter (guys love talking about themselves.) And that way you could learn more about him!

Not dumb at all, it might help to get his attention if you write something that sparks his interest. What does he like? What is he into? Find that out and you will have something to say to him:) Goodluck girl!

sounds good to me as long as you let him know later that you think of him as more than a friend don't make him think that you only like him as a friend for all you know he's been waiting for you to make a move. best of luck!!
