i mean, hey, why do they like to pick on somebody considered uncool, it's as if they're so perfect and all?

i hate it. can't they choose the option to keep it to themselves? i mean, at least, the person won't know. grr.

Well, its called "Tall poppy syndrome".
People tend to give themselves more confidence by making fun of those they deem lesser life forms.
In the past it was the cause of racism, sexism and homophobia. Although those are now not so prevalent in society, the root nature does not change,

I dont know i hate it too. I think it is lost and parents dont teach their children the difference of being open and honest and being tactful.

i believe it is the sadness resulting from too much insecurity brought on by society's need to compete with "everyone else"
often the flaws pointed out are the very same fears the accuser hold dear

People have lost the importance of manners. The first ammendment is more important to most people than common decency. Shameful!
