Insecurity. Shopping gives them a sense of power, alot of them can't achieve in their real lives.

I don't at all, in fact I see it as a chore. I have to go today but would rather play on this computer than ever go shopping again, it is a pain. However most women I think seek personal and material gain as status and defining to who they are. The more they have, the more woman they are, whereas I see it quite the opposite. "To live content with small means. To seek elegance rather than luxury. And refinement rather than fashion. And wealthy not rich, to bear all cheerfully. To let the spiritual unbidden & unconscious grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony." Funny I feel like I may be the only one who lives this way. Be happy just to be. Sorry so long!:o]

I personally hate shopping and i'd do it online before I went to the mall. I hate the mall.
