In my experience, you can't go wrong with a Honda. I have a Honda Civic LX, but if money isn't an issue, you should get a DX because it has a sun roof too. The car is great, safe, awesome gas mileage, easy to fix if you ever have to make a repair and they look great!

If price doesn't matter then Noble M12 GTO. Not particularly compact and not spacious either but once your behind the wheel you won't care, even the 3 kids you got squashed onto the passenger seat as it has no rear seats. But within 5 seconds behind the wheel nothing will matter other than where your going to drive next!!

I'm assuming you're not after anything stupidly small then. Look at the Ford Focus, or the Volkswagen Golf. Even the Vauxhall Astra nowadays is a fine car.

If you want something a bit less conservative, look at the Citroen C4, if French cars don't worry you.

I would recomend an Audi A3. it is by and large the same as a golf but with loads more style. only go for the 2 door version however is has better lines and upgrade to the S-Line spec and you will get a tasty interior and skirts/wings and alloys

Go for the Phantom black and you will get pearlecent metalic black paint.

Get the 2.0 ltr diesel and you will get fuel economy and it will be quick!

I have one and am well pleased with it. Expect to pay £23,000

I love the new shape Ford Focus personally. But if your looking for something smaller then why not look at the VW Polo. My brother works for VW and I was quite surprised by it. Go for the top of the range model. Something like GTi. They are quite nippy. Don't look as hideous as the old Polo's did so you won't look like a gimp. It's just a baby Golf.

If you like japanesse cars: Mazda 3 or Honda Civic, they are both compact and spacious and Hot. If you like European cars: VW Jetta (Bora) or Vauxhaul Astra, less space than the japanesse but better performance.

Love my scion tC. You can get it customized anyway you want right from the store. I personally got it lowered, racing suspension, euro lights, 18" rims, 200 hp supercharged, Black pearl color, and two 10" blapunkt in a box with a 1500 watt in the trunk. And of course the all glass roof is nice. Along with the reclining rear seats and the satellite radio!
