Not make babies, would be a good place to start. If you're not responcible enough to avoid making babies, then youre not responcible enough to have sex. Especially not at 14.
All that aside, Your body will have PMS symptoms that change, and periods that change, as you get older. You're still a teenager and theres a lot of stress and changing hormones in your body, and a list of other things which make it simple for you to skip your period for no aparent reason.
You can even have horrible PMS symptoms, like you're discribing, and just not have a period until a few weeks later, or until you're next cycle.
Wait a week and test again, if the test is negative again then you have nothing to worry about.
If you decide that you need to continue trying to play an adult game and have sex with boys, then you need to suck it up and get yourself to a planned parenthood and go on some form of birthcontrol, and then TAKE IT CORRECTLY AND ON TIME.
Dont be a child, dont make babies you dont want just because you want to feel good and feel loved.
Plannedparenthood.com you will be able to type in your area code and it will show you the nearest offices to you. You need no parent or nor permission to go there and get on the pill.

First of all at 14 you should have more sense to keep your legs closed or at least use serious protection. Second of all you may not think it but your mom is probably the best friend you never knew you had. The best thing for you and your baby is to tell her and get prenatal care right away you will need guidence not to mention because your body is not done growing itself vitamins!
Home tests: there are no false positives but there are false negatives. The test detects the hormone hcg that is only present in pregnancy but if levels are low enough you could still be. Test in morning and if neg. test agian in 2 days in morn.

is there a teen health center in your school or nearby. if so then go to it. If you've only missed your pd. by a week then most likely you would not be showing. i.e. no stomach tightness. You would however get gas, and maybe nausea. At anyrate be sneaky with it. Tell mom that your having ab. pains that you want to go to the Dr. at 14 you should be able to tell mom to stay in the waiting room while the dr. does the exam. if this happens you'll find out if your preggers and mom wont instantly know b/c doc. cant say anything.

First thing, relax! Stress can prevent you from have'n a period. PMS will make your boobs hurt, you can also fool your body into thinking it is pregnant and it be false. If you really think you are, you should tell your mother. I know that teens today feel that parents do not understand, Will freak all out and are of no help. I have 3 teenage boys I know who and when they have sex, we have had many talks about birth control so Parents are not all stupid, we HAVE been there done that, how do you think YOU got here?

I know that I do not fully understand your situation. You say that your mom i no help, but have you asked her? You may be surprised. If you really feel like you can not go to your mom, maybe you could talk to a friends mom, or a school counselor. If you think there is a possiblity that you are pregnant, you really need to find out now. Your age makes it more difficult than if you were older. I do recomend that you do seek advice from a counselor. You are way to young to be having sex. Best of wishes.

Take another home test in a few days. Your stomach would not be getting bigger already, it sounds like you are getting your period to me. You are only 14 so having an irregular period is very normal.

See if there is a local Planned Parenthood clinic in your area where you can go for a pregnancy test.
You could also try taking another at-home test. If you took the first one too early, did something wrong, anything, the results could have been a false-negative.

You are not alone. Please confide in a close friend, or teacher!
You can not go through this by your self. I no how you feel as I have been in your position at the age of 16. You must seek doctors advise ASAP.
You may not even be pregnant it could be the stress of your period been late or even a phantom pregnancy.
Look after your self, and good luck :o)

you shouldnt be having sex in the first damn place. when i was 14 i wasnt thinking about that. i wanted to still go out and play with my friends and ride bikes. Better yet I was ready to drive a car. Sex wasnt on my mind until 16. I know you dont need to hear this at this point but if you manage to not be pregnant let this be a lesson. wait for 4-5 years at least. hell if you was my kid, WAIT TILL MARRIAGE!!!!!!
