i would think it would be because now-a-days everybody is spoiled with all the new technology and material possesions, Men are bowing down to women in the workplace, letting women support them so they dont have to work, children are mostly spoiled rotten from birth, as they grow they become spoiled teenagers, etc...sometimes it seems that you cant satisfy your family's needs - much less their wants...i think we should all loosen up some and take more camping trips and get back to the basics, plus everyone can use a vacation from this hectic life at times

The problem is that people in family's get married to people that come from totally different family dynamics then your family. That brings in conflict every time. Your family us used to doing things one way and the new addition to the family, family's does things totally different. It will cause problems, nothing you can do but learn how to make compromises.

That is it. They have more things...possessions. They buy buy buy and then realize they don't have any money to pay for it. If they would quit buying all that crap and do quality things with each other the tension would be gone.

maybe you answered it yourself. the things, possessions, etc. could be the problem. feelings of jealousy over what a family member has worked hard to achieve. it's sad that we can't be happy for our loved ones when they achieve. something to think about.

I think it's b/c we don't spend as much time together as we families use to.There are far more distractions and we allow ourselves to be overly involved in activities out side of the home and family.

Living with other people is hard. You love your family, and tend to feel comfortable enough to be annoyed and tell them about it. The only reason others don't bother you as much is because you don't live with them.

It's human nature to compete against others to be the top even with families.

HELLO STEFAN,
PEOPLE DON'T HAVE VALULES, MORALS,
THAT THEY USE TO.ALOT OF THEM ARE JUST INSTREAD IN THINGS AND POSSESSIONS RATHER THAN THE LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE THAT WE USE TO ENJOY, LIKE CUTTING A WATERMELLON IN THE
YARD WITH YOUR GRAND PARENTS . GOING FOR RIDES IN THE COUNTRY WITH YOUR FAMILY OR HAVING PICINICS IN THE PARK ON SUNDAYS OR GOING FOR LONG WALKS.
GOOD LUCK,
MISSPIGGY

Lack of communication and Trust. Adding to this, the ego. If you get out of these, life will be alright.
