Because that the way it has been done in the past... besides this leaves the door open for those who are more career oriented and allow them to take heed of oppurtunity instead of focusing ong serious/intimate relationships - which take alot of time energy and effort to have, Thus people (young people) will continue to have babies (theory of babies having babies) and professionally minded indiviuals will rise to the top of the corporate latter because they don't have serious relationships to focus on. It all works out in the end cause everyone lives their life the way they want to and enevitably get what they either want or deserve based off of their actions vs. their mentality.

I don't think media or adults put pressure on teenagers to have "intimate relationships" as you call it. Liberal adults might have no problem with teenagers having an intimate relationship, but why would they encourage it? The media is the same, particularly in America where sex is treated as just about the biggest taboo there is.
Besides, waiting until you are married to have sex is a particular religious viewpoint that not everyone shares. In most civilised countries, it's perfectly acceptable to have sex in a loving relationship without marriage even being a question.

Get a clue! Media sells its product, what sells more than anything else SEX whether teen, infant or animal. I do not know what adults you are being supervised by that encourage that, but it sounds as if you are actually talking about Adults in general.

You have to realize that this is an immoral period of times - compare it to Sodom and Gammorah. All of the nutcases, pervs, saddistic and insane seem to have more power than those of us who try to use self-control. Just don't be swayed by the negative influence.

A teen or child or infant for that matter really needs someone or a host of people to sponsor them through life now, giving them moral values and encouragement based on that value system, because the world has gone into an extreme nosedive and the only thing that matters is self gratification and accrual of money - there are things more valuable such as love for your fellow man, compassion, justice, mercy, joy, but this system, government, population is focused on the baser things in life, sodomy, child porn, kidnapping, raping, killing, war and such.

What? In my experience it was the opposite with adults, but the media is like that. My parents encouraged me not to have sex. They even think that my husband was my first to this day. He wasn't, but they don't know that.
