I am facing a peculiar and annoying problem from a few days. Whenever, I open a folder placed on the desktop of my computer, I find another folder with the same name in that folder. For example, if I open a folder named as July, 2006, I would find that there is folder with the name July, 2006. When I click on this folder found within, I find that it contains the files present in My Document.

I have tried to solve this problem but could not get the success. How can I get rid of this nuisance, which is causing a great deal of inconvenience?

if for example you recieved this July 06 Folder in an e-mail, and you already had a July 06 folder on yout dektop, so you saved the E-Miald Folder in the folder already on your desktop, that would cause this, Open the First folder on your desktop/wherever, Then DRAG that folder out on to your desktop (the one inside the first folder) then delete the FIRST folder, It should put something like (1) or (2) outside the one u just drug to the desktop, that way, it saves you 2 clicks from now on,

you are in trouble...BIG time...its a bloody virus...my comp too was infected with that...i did a system restore... and everything was back to normal...but my friend tried system restore..and it din't work...he had to format his drive and reinstall the os...back up all the data you want...and after doing that...FORMAT the drive..install a fresh os...and install a good anti virus...i suggest AVG anti virus free edition...you get updates everyday...you can download it from www.grisoft.com...and now don't copy anything from your comp to anything...this thing spreads when you copy a folder...even when you copy or move a folder from one location to anotherin your hard disk...
