no there are still plenty of them. Down here in the south all the stupid rednecks drive big trucks.

Only for new ones. Those who are already owners are not going to just push them over a cliff into a quarry somewhere. They will keep driving them for years until it is next-car time.

The weirdest mismatch I saw was a friend of my cousin. She probably weighs about 80 pounds, is under 5 foot tall, and has only one kid. She was driving (alone) an SUV so big she could barely climb down from it. But she didn't see anything weird about that.

For the most part yes I think so. I do know that Chrysler is making some Jeep that has a V-8 Hemi and the gas mileage isn't great, and they have a back log of these cars that people have ordered.
