I readily admit that I think she's great, and I'd like to have a go at being her for a while. Some of my friends detest her, but I think deep down it's because they're jealous of her....

I don't like the music particularly either, but she's never done anything to p*ss me off personally, so I don't actively hate her like my friends do!! Life's too short!

I think in many cases yes, a lot of girls hate people that make them jealous. It tends to be the case more for younger women though, you grow out of it eventually.
Fergie is very confident, has a good body and gets attention from men which would make her an easy target for bitchy jealousy. However I dislike her a lot because she has an attitude I don't like. I imagine her to be like the bullies at school. It's definitely not a jealousy thing.
If I'm jealous of a celeb I can admit that, and I don't turn it into dislike.

I don't care either way about her... Not my type of music at all. Although they did play a concert at my college a few years back. My fitness instructor said that she was in the athlete's gym going to town on the treadmill for an hour, and was extremely nice.

I recently found out she was in the tv show "Kids Incorporated" and she was the blond girl with long curly hair. I loved her in that show as my kids watched it back then. I didn't much like her till I found that out and I have a renewed respect for her. I thought she was just a short term pop star but she may continue to make it.

It could be because she is a coke head, some people have morals and as such don't support junkies, it's a matter of personal choice, i doubt very much that they're jealous

I have to say I agree with angels with dirty faces - she has a great figure but I can't stand her "music" and I don't think she is attractive at all in the loks dept.

I hardly think they're jealous. I don't like her, but it doesn't mean I suddenly wanna grow **** and sing about my "London bridge". Maybe they just don't appreciate her music, I know I don't. But hey, I'm a metal head. What do I know. lol.
