Are they the most extraordinarily secure, confident, trustworthy and happy people (couples) in the world or just dirty old buggers who can't get enough?

I find the swingers scene a bit pervy, a bunch of people who can't stay faithful and use this as a way to mask it.

Swingers are ordinary people just like you. They are the people that you would never expect them to be. My boyfriend and I are swingers. We're not fat, dirty, old people. I'm 26, in college. He's 28. We are selective and very safe. We're just open. Adultery is the leading cause of divorce. So, why leave yourself open to that? We're open to do whoever we like. We just keep each other informed. That's a wonderful life, the joy of being in a relationship, having someone to cuddle up next to every night, and still being able to enjoy being at your sexual peak.

Swinging isn't for everyone. It would take major trust in a realtionship. I don't have a problem trusting my spouse it's just everyone else. SO I defianatly couldn't be a swinger cuz i know I am entirely too jealous. I'd kick some swinger butt :) anyways. I always think To each thier own. Everyone has fantasies kinky ways about them. (well I do). soo.. whatever makes you happy go for it. just as long as you use protection.

extraorinarily secure? confident? trustworthy?. that's like saying that there is honor among thieves.
they make a mockery of marriage vows "keep sole unto him/her till death do you part" [I am no saint, and I have to answer for my sinful ways when my time comes]
everyone has their own lives to live, but don't say you are morially right when you know you are wrong. And what more making it worst by using the institution of marriage to make appear clean.
if they want to shag everything that moves and then say that they are doing it within the bounds of marriage then something is totally wrong, because the bounds of marriage doesn't leave room for such things, it's called by a different name.
if they want a casual sex life then be bold and brave like the rest. remain a single person who can tag a partner whenever the fancy takes them, and deal with the fall out like the rest of us single folks.

I've seen some devestatingly hot swingers over the last few years. I don't think they have a monopoly in Trust or Confidence allthought they're not lacking. I do think they have better communication in their relationships. Also generally from what I've seen they have much worse compatability

I'm not into swinging, it wouldn't be for me. I dont see an issue with it though. If 2 people are married, and both have sexual interests outside of their own bedroom, who are we to complain? It's not like they're cheating on each other behind their backs. Everyone involved is in it for the same reason, so no one gets hurt. I say it's harmless as long as everyone involved is responsible, and mature enough to know what they're getting themselves into. It's far safer than casual sex with strangers.

Why do they have to be dirty. This is a way of life, I mean some people have that trust in their partner so they live that lifestyle. I mean there is nothing wrong with that...People who look a is as being bad, nasty or not good is too close minded...Hope this helps..D

they must be very open minded ppl, each to there own I say but i tend to think of couples in there 50's rather than young attractive ppl so would say there dirty old buggers who dont fancy their own partner anymore or there bored of the same routine.

I think they are great. They know how to have fun in a safe and secure environment.
They are all fat and ugly though. I mean, has anybody ever seen an attractive swinger?
