I would us the word Nation instead of tribe....
But I agree it would help a lot if you knew where you get your blood from. Are there any Universities or Technical Colleges in your area? Most of those have an adviser or two that can help people track down their extended families. I also recommend you attend powwows in your area and start to build up some cultural understanding of your heritage.

You may want to write the Nation you are from and ask them for assistance with this, too. You can probably find them using a search engine. You will need to be pretty specific with that, though--"Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa" will get you a lot more help than something like "Sioux."

Well, you do realize that the different tribes are vastly different, right? What tribe are you from? It would help people answering very much.

easy. indians was chillin white people came n took up the land then brought some black people to help out around the house. now we live all happily ever after. lmao!
