I don't agree that prisoners in Guantanamo or abu grab were tortured for starters.

To answer your question I would do a better job but I would also be assassinated within the first week.

Free welfare would stop. If you receive a welfare check your going to do something to earn it.

The borders would be locked up tighter than a drum. All American forces would be brought home to defend the homeland. The world will have to defend itself we've got our own problems to deal with. The missile defense system will be fully operational.

Oil exploration and drilling in Alaska, Gulf of Mexico and Pacific coastline would start immediately.

Illegal aliens would be arrested and deported back to their native countries.

All foreign aid to countries that hold contempt against us would stop immediately.

Tariffs will be placed on all incoming goods if the country that's sending them doesn't allow us equal access to their markets.

Trade with communist and dictatorships will stop. We'll not be funding our enemies any longer.

The federal reserve will be disbanded. It is against the Constitution of the United States.

The U.S. dollar will be backed by gold and other precious metals instead of oil.

This will be a total shock to the economy of America but as history will show you we can bounce back from anything. The countries around the world who wish to destroy us would not be able to sustain themselves though and 10 to 20 years we could try to help the world again but the 1st priority should be to ensure the sovereignty and sanctity of the United States of America so that future generations may be helped by our most generous people.

I could do a better job than Bush I could pull the troops out I could sit at a table and talk reasonably and I could replace giving arms for aid to Africa, but I would then be shot by my own people because these are not American values only a President with 'American' values will be elected, God Bless America and G.W. Bush 'cos nobody else would even spit on him.
As for Tony Blair what is his problem seriously British troops are still dying because of him and they are not even really mentioned because American troops dying are more important.

If you are motivated by anything other than greed im sure you could do better.

If Blair would have the balls to tell America that they are alone in their 'crusade to end terror' then we might get along a bit better. Unfortunately we follow like sheep... How many people have died because of the decisions these guys have made? Because of the weapons THEY have sold?

Guananomo bay? They publicaly condem soldiers for war crimes and prosicute in a token gesture to appear they are for the people but play god in there own little torture huts in my opinion

No, to the first 2 questions. I do not tap dance very well, and am not cut-out to be a politician.

No one knows how many lies they have had to tell. That goes with the job. You could not be totally honest and still be a politician.

No one should be tortured for any reason, imho. That is why I do not believe in Hell (or one of the reasons anyway).

A deaf and dumb monkey could do a better job than Bush.
Blair may be qualified, but history has conspired against him, maybe.......maybe not.

Lies, as many times as they have opened their mouths, if you include lies of omission. They are Politicians after-all.

Torture is never acceptable. Incarceration without trial is only acceptable in special cases, and then the Red Cross and the UN must be allowed complete access.

Being president of the local booze club would be a daunting enough task - all you need do is open a few bottles. So being president of the USA is not something I either contemplate or consider able to do.
