best thing???? bangalore is full of best "things". other than the pubs, the weather, the shopping, the people one thing that u cant miss in bangalore is the food there. u can walk into any place and b assured of good food.
another thing about bangalore is the availability of auto-rickshaws for commuting. most of them do not cheat and take u by the meter. that relieves a lot of tension for a new comer.
secondly, the no. of languages spoken and known to people over there is more than any other place in india. so having a problem communicating with starngers is rare.
thirdly, bangalore crowd rocks!!!! that is very cosmopolitan and u feel at home everywhere. u can b alone and yet enjoy urself visiting places by only looking around.
fourthly, people dont care a damn about ur appearance, u can b in a night gown or gucci suit u will not b stared at!
so three cheers to bangalore and hope that some fly-overs come der quickly so that the traffic scene can get better!!!
oh! not to forget the education system. there is generally lot of practicals in colleges in the form of various cultural festivals. so u r left alone and it is upto u to decide how do u wanna do things. also the teachers r helpful!

Climate is ultimate there,
It comes above all, most of the metros are cosmos, vegetation is also like most of the S.Indian cities, coffee & pubs don't make a city so good, but the climate year long, is excellent, an ecological thermostat is established there.
