Advantages
1) Walking/biking/driving is possible
2) Coffee mug stays on the dashboard
3) Shuffling across a carpet to shock someone
Disadvantages
1) Machine efficency is decreased: energy input is lost to heat
2) Getting shocked by doorknobs
3) Rug burn

Advantages:-
1) Friction is required for any object to stop.
2) Our Earth's atmosphere prevents falling debris to reach it's surface as frictional force completely burns it.
3) It would not be possible to light a matchstick without friction between it's head & the side of the matchbox.
Disadvntages:-
1) Forest fires are caused due to friction between branches of trees.
2) Tyres of vehicles & soles of shoes & chappals wear out because of friction.
3) The heat produced in the moving parts of machinery due to friction results in wear & tear of parts.

2. Draging of atmosphire with earth is possible
3. Helps to pevents the life on earth by burning astroids.
dis-advatages of friction
1. it opposses the motion so more energy is needed to do the same work.
2. generates the heat which is absorbs by atmosphere thus contributing in globle worming.
3. no sound can be heard with out friction

Friction keeps our cars on the road, but generates heat, which is a waste of energy.

Without friction there is no wheel.It won't roll it will only glide or collide..
But for friction the aircraft will not take off.

Advantages: You're able to walk and control your movement, you can generate heat to keep yourself warm
Disadvantages: It counteracts movement and so it takes more energy to move, it can cause unwanted heat (e.g. in machine parts), and it wears things out like shoes.

advantage is that if u want to stop a moving thing u have to give less power to stop that and disadvantage is that if u want to move a stop thing u have to give more power to make that in motion
