Perhaps they are swayed by the evangelicals of the Republican Party that prey on the voter's values. Also, it doesn't hurt them when they scare citzens with tales of gay marriage destroying heterosexual marriages, or how Iraqis don't want us to live in freedom. What a load of bs. Hopefully, the midterm elections will wake them up!

Didn't we have a Democrat President the first time the Twin Towers were attacked? Are you really going to blame Republicans for the hatred and terrorism in the middle east? That problem can be traced back hundreds of years. The Republican party hasn't been around that long. Do you really believe if we have Democrats in office that the terrorists of the world will love us? If that is your strategy to get them elected I'm afraid I can't go along with you. It would be kind of like during WW Two saying let's vote out FDR and then the Nazi's will love us. One other point. Have you forgotten that the Democrats supported the invasion? They ALL said lets go!

I'm a registered non party voter. I have a tendency to vote Republican 90% of the time. It used to be true that Repubs... believed in less government intervention in our private lives, less tax, proper spending, less hand outs, pro-life, strong able military. Things that I believe in... I use to see Democrats, as tax more to give to the so called needy, less military and more paying off terrorist and change or positions so the rest of world likes us. Basically a whore that could be bought or sold. To the point that if any group including the right to marry my cow would be protected. Anti religious and if we can destroy Christianity that would be okay.

Now I'm not quite sure what each party is representing. Neither one seem to have a responsible agenda that will further our growth in reasonable steady strong future.

I don't agree that the Republican purposefully created new generations of terrorists. While I do not support the administration's policies in the Middle East, this charge is not supportable. A better question might be, how are we going to get out of this mess without causing further damage to our war effort and our relations with other nations?

It is possible that a lot of people in America do not fall for the socialist propaganda, I don't and I suspect you don't either.

There are new enemies, they were always there, the enemy may be recruiting more now but you have to ask yourself why, could it be that we are having a big impact on their ability to wage terror around the world and they need new bodies?

Just a thought

I love your question! a great one ... there are negatives in EVERY party. But I continue to vote for the party I have the same platform with - GOP. If my views are not compatible with Dem. party then it doesn't matter how many enemies GOP has created I still belong to GOP and darn proud of it. :)

This is a very good question.

Why don't you make a sincere effort to try to find out why American citizens tend to vote Republican instead of using Yahoo Answers as a forum for your agenda?

Have fun but be safe!

What new enemies have been created?

You need to do a little history research.

You don't create New enemies by being strong. They were already there.
But you do encourage your enemies by "cutting & running" and wanting to surrender like the Democrats.
