The thing that separates humans from all other animals is our ability to view the world in the past, present and future. This ability allows us to learn from our past mistakes, progress in the present and imagine the future. I dont know of any other animal that thinks about tomorrow.

We tend be balanced in design, two feet, two legs, two arms, two hands, two kidneys, two hemispheres of the brain, two eyes, I might be slightly biased in this manner of the duality of the human being since I have a twin sister ;-)

it's not that god has human characteristics but humans have god the divine characteristics such as the power to create or speak things in existence we were created in gods image.
