Well, since men are not just a group but individual men, that would depend on the individual man.

Some men ar stoic and others sensitive...some emotional and some unemotional.

I only saw my ex-husband cry once in 17 years and it was when they told me after 26 hours of hard labor with no drugs I needed an emergency C-section..just before that they had tried to pull the (9 lb 5 oz) baby out with both hands..I had screamed and kicked and begged my husband to help me as it was extremely painful..

Also it was back when c-sectrions were rare (3%) and little information available to the public. It was my first child and I(at the time) wanted 6 kids. I thought it meant I couldn't have any more kids...and started crying. He started crying too though not sure at which part.

I think many men cried at seeing 9-11 and men in war cry when their friends die, and men cry when they lose their kids..and sometimes wives or GF..when they are in pain, etc.

Depends on the man. Some men find it embarrasing to their manhood to shed any tears for anything.Other men cry easily.I think on average most men that would cry would probably cry over someones death,or loss of any kind...other men cry watching sports and watching their team lose....it could be anything serious to even more trivial things like that!

I have cried hard several times this year. In each case it was because I saw, for various reasons, that my latest attempt to find love was doomed.
Some my fault, some not at all.
Trust is now next to impossible, and without trust love IS impossible.
At present I feel numb a good bit, mixed with deep loneliness and melancholy.

Same thing which makes woman.
But they learned that they are not supposed to cry. So they hide emotions. And need more 'pressure' to start crying.

It might be that they need to feel safe to allowed them self to cry in front of someone.
