Any civil war is over territory, government or religion. Sometimes any combination of all. Yes, the atrocities happening in Darfur are just mind blowing although it seems to be happening worldwide. I think the question is not why is it happening but what the hell can we do to stop it? Like now.

because of corrupt governments.there is plenty of food in the world for everyone - it is just that a lot of people don't want to share the wealth.
