I find this really annoying. I've paid good money for the DVD. It's mine!! I want to watch the film, but I'm forced to wait up to 6 minutes for various previews to be shown.

that always got on my nerves....you pay a lot of money for a DVD then get forced into watching adverts as well...
i thought the idea of buying it was so that you dont have to watch adverts!

Every Fairy tale will have a wicked old witch.. Sadly these "grown up" brought that to real life... We are at their mercy despite paying good money for it. Lucky for you.. you are only watching trailers... in Asia, DVD bought from China {legal ones} will have advertisement that will run for a full 8 minutes.. worst you can't skip and sometimes you cannot even fast forward.. And the finale... everytime you put in the disk you have to watch all the advertiesment all over again !!!

I know I feel the same. it was much easier with video as you can fast forward all the trailers but DVD wont let you, you have to watch the previews. Or go and make a cup of tea! :-)

You should be mopnryable to skip past by pressing the forward skip button especially since you paid good money for it

I watch it on my pc. I can skip it if I have DVD Region free installed.
