Okay guys, U ready for this one?? I was on the contraceptive pill for 4 years up until 14th september 2006, I came off the pill to have my normal 1 weeks break and since then I have not took the pill. How ever I have still had regular intercourse 4-5 times a week since. On the 30th September I had what I think was Implantation bleeding (VERY LIGHT PINK SMEARING) Since then I have had slight stomach cramps and a kind of butterfly feeling in my lower abdom.
I was due on yesterday, though surprise, surprise I did not come on. I have done 2 pregnancy tests and 2 negative results. VERY CONFUSING I NO! Please pease give me your honest oppinions guys as I would be oh so gratefull :o) Thanks

head to ur gp get blood test done to detect pregnancy hormon or wait another day or two and do another test it might be too early for the shop bought tests to detect yet.

I would say you are probably not pregnant. The butterfly feeling is not a sign of pregnancy unless you are about 3 months gone. Give your period another couple of days, and then repeat the test. The pink smearing could be a withdrawl bleed from the pill. After being on it for so long, its gonna take some time for your body to get back to normal. So your period might not come at all this month.

The pregnancy testing kits are the same as the hospitals use and they are pretty much 100% acurate. I would say your not. Coming off the pill does odd things to your body, give it another week to settle down then try another test or go to your dr.s but you have to wait a few days for the results to come back if they test you at the surgery.

I'm NOT a dr. But, I've had 3 kids. And that's the way it was when I got pregnant with my 1st. I got off the pill in Oct. 92, as my husband was going overseas for 6 months, when he got home, we got pregnant on our first try. I waited to take a pregnancy test til I was about 6 wks along though.....But, I was about 1 month along when I took one for my 2nd child.....(I waited because we had had a fertility problem after our first.) all my home pregnancy tests came back positive when I took them. It's either too soon to tell by the home pregnancy test, a faulty test or your not pregnant.

Very very doubtful that you are preggers, the pill works by releasing a chemical into blood which in turn prevents any fertilized egg from embedding into the womb wall and growing normally and take approx 6 months to fully get outta system, not saying it would take you 6 months to get pregnant but there would still be allot of the chemical 'floating' about inside you so its 'preventative' effects would still be there

Don't be worried sister for even ladies going through the same as they take pills. They concieve as they take pills only to realise this when its too late. Mind you test before three to four weeks will be more apropriate. A baby blessing will be very okey. Bear with the situation as it comes and only accept. when a baby comes God provides for other needs it requires.

You should go to the doc and have a blood test done, over the counter tests are not 100%, especially at the early stages of pregnancy.

I think maybe it could be that you've got to leave it for a little bit longer, if you've been on the pill for the past 4 years then it might take a bit longer for your period to startas your body might expect the you to take the pill. The bleeding could be anything, you'll probably get your period within days.

as a mere male wot would I know, but i'd go along with the girls who've wisely advised to leave it a week and see if u start and if not then go and see ur doctor and raise ur concerns he'll but ur mind at rest, i think after 2 failed tests if u get a 3rd and thats negative i'm not sure you'll believe it.

u could be pregnant, but i will take a little while for the prgnancy hormone to come through into your wee.
i would wait a week or so and try again also cos u have messed up ur pill cycle you have now messed up your menstrual cycle.
