No; the stock market is not supposed to be a "religious" institution. Jesus threw out the moneychangers because they were abusing the Temple. I imagine he would have something to say about stock trading, though; he wasn't against commerce, but he was against dishonesty.

The stock market is not in a house of worship. Jesus protested the moneychangers on sacred ground, the temple. He was not objecting to commerce. He was objecting to it occurring in the temple.

i'm not sure about that one. jesus was angry with the money changers because they used the temple, which is supposed to be a place of worship, to solicit and profit.
i can't speak for jesus, but i think he just wouldn't participate in the stock market rather than throw them out.

I don't think Jesus had any problems with the making of money...just the making of it in a religious establishment. So, I think the stock market is safe from any devine wrath.

No because the stock market does not operate in the chapel and they dont operate on Sunday. That is what he was mad about. Not the fact that they were making money. Just that they did it in the house of the lord.

If they happened to be trading stocks on sanctified grounds, then yeah, he'd be fairly rilled. Perhaps sufficiently so to get him to come back to us for a while.
Ok, we're gonna need a priest, a bucket of holy water and a couple of hundred thousand dollars worth of shares.
