i willingly uninstalled NORTON ANTI VIRUS CORPORATE EDITION INSPITE OF ALWAYS UPDATION IT BUT STILL IT WAS NOT ALERT AND CUD NOT DETECT VIRUSES AND TROJAN HORSES

You should remove all the unregistered softwares and you should emove all the waste files and empty your recycle bin. This will speed up your computer!

Get rid of the unregistered Spyware doctor and get Spyware Blaster from here

You might also want AVG Anti Spyware (formerly called Ewido)
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
They won't slow down your computer as they run in the background, unlike Norton which is a resource hog and does slow down systems.
You've done extremely well on trying to protect your computer - well done!
The other important thing you MUST do is to ensure that each and every program is fully updated or has updates automatically run (where the option is given).

What are you doing you are choking your system just install Norton 2005 it does not slow down your computer as Norton2004 does. And there is no need to install so many softwares just be careful what you are downloading and which site you are visiting, if you can take care of these two rules there will be no problem in the future

Every running program will slow down your computer to an extent. But many of the programs you mention are valuable and useful, and will prevent malicious software that would certainly slow down your computer.
Ignore advice that tells you to get rid of it all and install the poster's favourite program instead. :)

dont install norton software atll.it will slow down ur system further...
Best thing is:::::
AVG antivirus------for its capable of detecting all virusses
Sypbot---for checking spyware and adware
Tune up utilies ---for keeping system in top notch ondition
All these u can use and all are m,ost advanced and can help keep viruses away
