as it boots up theres usually a promt that says "Press f8 for security options" -

-in there you can lock your computer from the boot up...in other words...it'll turn on...and to access it...have to have a password.

Put the CPU/hard drive in your security box. And lock it with many locks and take away the keys with you.

You never know who can hack into your account. But someone has to be very persistent to hack up a metal fireproof box to get to your computer files.

If you have windows xp, you can easily put a pw on your accounts, just click on the picture on the top of your start menu, click the back button and create a password. Good luck!!

Just go to control panel and create a password.But they can still use your computer but not the account you use.Ä°f you want them not be able to turn on the computer,then you can do it thru your system,which appears when you turn on your computer,it says to go to the system press ctrl + del (I am not sure but it will tell you) Good luck :-)

hold Ctrl + Alt + Delete and you wil get option for locking your computer... (only in Windows)
