well, I stepped away from the computer (ok, I was pulled away kicking screaming & pouting) and you wouldn't believe what I got done in 25 minutes....I am very proud of myself......now, how long does that mean I can stay here???

I am a successful procrastinator. I HAVE to do something, anything, just not what needs to be done. I have a pile of stuff partially finished in my project room that stems back from 1995, I am sure. My kids are all grown up and these were things that I was doing for them. If I keep going, they will still be there when the Grand-kids have grown. Then I can pass it on to the kids and they can say, "My god, what was that woman thinking?"

If I don't do it now, I consider it's out of my hands. At the office, I'm the biggest fish in the pond - what I can't do, what I leave in my wake, is the scraps colleagues need to get by. I would consider this succesful procrastination.

Sometimes....I just happened to balance my checkbook and found myself in the red. See what happens when I put something off? Luckily my hubby got paid today and it appears I will be able to re-juggle things around to get by. Lucky, lucky me!

Yeah, I get it done right before it's due. And it's usually good enough.
