Most of the stuff on ebay is rubbish, I was little red riding hood last year, this year I want something original.

I am english and a grown up, have you never wore fancy dress to a party?

statue of liberty,cave woman,fairy,dorothy from wizard of Oz,jessie from toy story. theses are the costumes i have worn in the past 5 years and i'm all grown up. don't feel shy it the next best day than christmas

Here'a a costume idea that you can make cheaply at home, looks really cool, is 'scary' and might win you a prize!
The Headless Ghost....
what you need:
a large mans, white, shirt (that's far too big for you and hangs quite long. A fancy looking shirt with ruffs would be best)
a wire coathanger
elastic
black trousers
long white socks
a belt with a large buckle
black shoes
2 round shaped scouring pads (like the little red or brass coloured ones)
a tiny pillow, or some padding
a dummies head, or you can make a papier mash one (you'd need paint as well in that case)
ok here's how to make the costume:
cut the hook off of the coathanger and chuck it away. Attach the elastic to the body of the hanger so it can fit under your chin with the wire triangle sitting on top of your head. (sit the padding on your head and put the hanger on that if it makes it more comfortable). These are your new shoulders. Put the shirt on so that the shoulders of the shirt are on the coathanger 'shoulders' and button it up (you should be able to still get your arms in the sleeves). Put some card in the collar to make it stay upright. You should be able to see through the gap in the shirt but if you can't, just make some small eye holes. Put on your black trousers and tuck the bottoms into the white socks so they're pulled up to your knees. Work out where is looks best to create the false waist (usually just under the bust) and put the belt on and buckle up! put the scouring pads on the black shoes and get those shoes on! Tuck your head under your arm and you're god to go!
Accessorise with some fake blood and maybe a sword. Hope thisworks for you if you decide to make it!

Get an old white sheet, sew it up each side but leave places for your arms to go through, cut a slit in the top for you head to go through, get a skipping rope to wear round your waist, a pair of angle wings and a piece of silver or gold tinsel for you head, wear your wings at an angle and your halo all squiffy, put on bright red lippy, do you hair like a punk and go as a fallen angel.

Its got to be something dressy for a party but also have something to do with Halloween. Go as a witch with a short dress with raggy ends if you Can not find one make one!

Well you could be anything! don't go for the regular witch or mummy, there are many places to go shopping for costumes. Just look some up on google. I don't no where u live so i couldn't help u.

At the krazy house in liverpool a guy with a homer simpson mask on always wins best dressed!!!
