I was about 3 to 4 weeks along - they HURT HURT HURT!!! I had to buy a thick, padded bra because the entire areola was super super sensitive. They hurt for quite a while, too. Several months at least.

Mine were the first warning sign I might be pregnant, which was around 4 weeks, and they REALLY hurt for around the first 16 weeks - at least I thought they did, until I got the 8th month and discovered what painful breasts really felt like!

and Shoby breast feeding is the best thing in the world for your baby... your so right
if you do breast feed they do hurt at first when your starting out but don't give up it will pass mine hurt the first week that when she cried I cried but it was something I knew would be the best and I did it for a long time

Mine were sore pretty much immediately because they usually get tender mid cycle so at first I assumed in was the normal pre menstrual event. First time round I had very itchy nipples early on! That was a give away, didn't happen until much later this time!

Mine started around 3 weeks in to my pregnancy, before I even knew I was pregnant! I had friends guessing I was pregnant before I even said anything to them around 2 1/2 mths as my breasts had gotten bigger and my jeans were a bit tight around the tummy... why they were checking me out I dont know!! Anyways, I think it really depends on the woman.

i noticed pretty early on in the pregnancy that my nipples were really sensitive then my boobs just GREW!! i went from a 34DD to a 36G!!!! they were sore and hard towards the end and just after the birth. the real pain comes when you breast feed. it feels like someone is pulling, pinching and twisting your nipple all at the same time!! but you get used to it soon enough and its definately worth it! good tip is to put some good moisturiser (i used nivea) in the fridge and just gently rub that in on your breasts. the coldness is heaven! good luck for the rest of your pregnancy. x

Mine started to hurt as early as a few weeks along. I don't know about anyone else, but that's just mine. And of course that continued throughout the entire pregnancy.

Mine started to hurt at around 5 weeks after conception but I don't know if that's a general thing or if I noticed because it was my fourth pregnancy!
