I would and I do.

London is a great city with a wonderful vibe and lots of stuff going on. There is lots of sights for tourists but there is also lots of stuff for locals like tonnes of pubs, clubs, restuarants etc. There is also lots to see within say a 2 hour drive from London which could keep you occupied for a couple of years.

Another bonus is that you can make tonnes of money in London (especially if you're a professional). It's pricey to live here (food, rent etc) but it's not too expensive compared to what you can get paid.

Having said that, I wouldn't live here forever. The city is way too over populated and dirty, the weather is terrible, things like transport can be so inefficient and there is way too much red tape when you try to get anything done. You should come over for a few years, get all you can out of the place and then head back to somewhere nicer.

I live in London. As you are Italian then if you get to London head to Clarkenwell Road as there is a large Italian Community there. I must warn you though, Don't come to London unless you have accomodation and a job or your filthy rich.

I've studied, lived and worked in London for the past 30 years, and it is a great place. I have travelled a fair bit in the US and in Europe, and nowhere else do you find such diversity, and there is always something to do.

Love him or hate him, Ken Livingstone as mayor has done great things with the public transport system to integrate it and make everywhere easy to get to.

With the Olympics coming to London in 2012, there can't be a better time to settle in the best city in the world.

I love London! It´s my favourite town and I had been there 8 times now. Longest were 6 weeks for an internship, when I had to stay at a long-term B&B.

I would like to live there again .. but it´s so expensive.

It depends on your skill set. Plenty of waiter jobs in London for Italians. The English pound is worth more than the Euro as Im sure you know.

If you don't try it you will never know.

I live in London, in some ways it's great, but I think Italy is probably far nicer - once you've done the tourist thing here, you're left with the busy and rude reality...

Loved it- 6 happy years there.

Great mixture of people, endless things to see and do, loads of live music, some good pubs if you hunt for them and the best looking women from all over Britain and the rest of the planet end up there..

i WOULD NOT WANT TO LIVE THERE AT ALL.
Was there for 15 days to stay at a friends house:the prices of everything are very high.
And it is packed with people all day.
Not a moments rest and it is filthy there.
No tx,I'll stay put where I am now:the Hgue olland.
Oh another thing:their fresh vegetables look like they are a month old:horrible!!!!!!!!!Do not do it.
Better come to Holland,Belgium or Germany.
