because their own record is more than just flawed, Nixon's dirty tricks, th4e republicans are very non tolerant by nature, most of them on yahoo are too cowardly to enlist and defend their country. We recently surveied vets at a local va hospital and 72% were democrats. While not a scientific cross section some may argue, it told me something.

For the same reason Clinton blamed the first Bush and Reagan for areas of government that Clinton had problems dealing with. Blaming previous administrations is common to both parties, and not always a misplaced venture. I'll give examples to both parties to be fair.
The GOP: Blames Clinton for a deal with N. Korea that gave them two light water reactors and nuke technology for a deal that N. Korea would not develop weapons. N. Korea shouldn't have been trusted. A fair blame.
The Dems: Blamed the elder Bush for a deficit and recesion that took years to repair. Bush's tax omnibus affair was not only an economy wrecker, but made a campaign promise into a lie. A fair blame.

He gave North Korea the technology to build nukes,he treated Al Qeada as a police matter he ignored the economy,he made being an habitual liar acceptable and he stripped our military.

Because the republican party does not want anyone to look too closely on how they have botched the protection of the American way of life. Time for a big change in Washington DC.

Selling China rocket technology, not pushing for Saddam to comply to UN sanctions, Black hawk down, giving N Korea 2 light water nuke reactors and no check and balance, Arafat's crap disassembling the CIA, Osama Bin Laden need I go on. Basically he allowed everything to fester that Bush has to deal with now

They can't stand the fact that Clinton is still "COOL" after leaving office 6 years ago and that is wife is still Senator 6 years later.

They know that they are going to lose big next month, so they've been put on the defensive and are grasping for anything that doesn't hold them accountable.
