my friend says that because she is FAT she won't ever get a boy friend is that true?

I think your friend has issues on many levels:
1. She is not happy with herself and her body. She should either do something about it and change the things she dislikes about herself, or shut up whining and learn to love herself as she is.
2. She is fixated on the idea that her life will only be worth living / she will only be a whole person, if she has a man in her life. She needs to learn to be more self-reliant and self-assured, possibly with the help of a therapist.

This is not true. There are many guys out there who like 'fat' girls. And if she is really concerned then she should do something about it. Work out, eat healthier. Also, if she has self confidence/esteem this will work to her benefit. Guys like that in a chick. Good luck.

No, you see fat women with men all the time when you go out. It's just likely that she's not going to have her pic of men unless she works towards making herself more attractive.

Nope, what she says is absolutely not true.
Yes, most of the guys today are more interested in beautiful, thin girls (that's the painful truth) but there are lots of other guys that just.. don't. She just has to find the once who don't, and I'm sure that one day she will.

There are many fat people in this world that have boyfriends. It's how you hold yourself that people like.
She needs to build up her self esteem!!
Weight Watcher groups and others like that build up your self esteem whether you lose a pound or not!
Tell her to join one.

In my class,there is one FAT girlfriend like you(maybe she is bigger than you think)But she is very kind and helpful,she doesn't always think about her body.Please think like this way:You maybe FAT,UGLY or SHORT,but those things are no meaning when you are yourself.Tell your friend:If you look at one person,just at their body,you are very wrong.The true person is nice at their heart,not their body.
