a foot shorter? hmmm could be problematic but it does work, look at Tom Cruise - he was married to Nicole Kidman and now Katie Holmes is a good 8 inches taller than him. i know theyre famous so they dont realy care haha but it shouldnt be a problem.
The fact that he's more "popular" than you shouldnt be a problem either, you should be flattered that he's taken an interest in you and enjoy the flirting. let him come to you, boys aren't too fond of 'keen bean' girls so leave it up to him. good luck!
