All the gadgets you see run on electrical energy and may be some of them also need some other thing too.
Absolutely no danger if there is sufficient insulation, in all manners needed...
Only one danger for which there can be no easy insulation !... If we switch off the electric power deliberately to deprive about say a thousand people, and they come to know, then , there is a danger which comes from the anger of these people !

danger is you could get fried and uses lots of your money !! benefits are being able to use your PC, lights ,heat and air and all the other gadgets that run off electricity
