There is a key on your keyboard, just at the top, to the right of the row of F keys, which is labelled "Prt Scr / SysRq". This is the print screen key.
Press the Print Screen key and you'll save an image of what's on your screen onto the memory.
Open up an application (MS Word would do), and press Control and V keys together to paste this image onto a page.

To capture the whole screen, hold CTRL and Print Screen.
To capture the active window, hold ALT and press Print Screen.
You will then need to go into either your art application or Word document and "Paste" the image into a new file.

Hit "Print Screen" in the top-right of your keyboard, open up your graphics program and select Paste. Voila!

press the "print screen" button and then go into Microsft Word or simmilar and right click your mouse then select paste and it will paste the image into Word.

There are many ways to do this. I use a free tool that works very nicely. I use it extensively to create documentation of computer processes and procedures. It has no time limit.

you have to use trhe print screen key, might be prt scr...you have to check your keyboard for it (you may not notice anything after you press the key)....you then have to paste it, in a document.
