Apart from the obvious i.e. already a household name and face..actors are used to the public and don`t get stage fright...most politicians and actors have high opinions of themselves in any case...I think in either profession you have to be selfish and self centered with an overriding desire to feather you own nest..hence actors are totally suited for politics.

There are well known by the public because of their movies. They do act in moral,patriotic and action movies which pretends that they are very good and they care for the people.The Public people too are trusting them. This make them easy to enter the Politics. Even the senior political people also take help from the actors during election. This is bcos the actors have a good reputation among the public.

It is easier for actors (like Nagma) to enter politics because - in India entering politics doesnot require any pre-qualification (academic) and he or she need not necessarily be a patriotic too.
It is further made easy for ageing actors in a way that they have had already earned their fortune during their cine days and after entering they will be further consolidating the gains. And above all they encash on their iconic image in India.

Simple : Todays politicians acts and promises to do lot of things but does nothing swindles lot of money, for actors its simply easier they have already learnt the trade of acting when the revenue stops halting they have an easy platform to enter which is politics.(of course all actors are not the same).

First point to remember is, POPULARITY is very important to enter politics. Because only popular people will hit the vote bank in elections successfully. In our country, it's out fate that only peoples in film industry and some sportsmans are getting popular. The main reason is press and medias are only focusing on them. Due to this ACTORs are getting very POPULAR.

Politicians should not have shame or self respect. What ever happens you have to pretend that it is not happening to you. Actors can do that, that is why they are being called actors. So they can enter easily in to politics with all the projections that they have as far as there are fools ready to die for them.

They have influence, but I think someone that is not famous and young, determined shoud enter the politics. Well, thats not going to happen cause evry youngster living in the country are Losers and are scared.
